Record of the week is "ROCK ‘N ROLL STAGE SHOW", the 2nd LP on DECCA by Bill HALEY And His COMETS,  released in August 1956. A very eclectic record with 4 songs only sung by Bill HALEY, 3 others by The COMETS and 5 instrumental tracks, letting Rudy POMPILLI, Franny BEECHER and Johnny GRANDE become the stars of the show!

Record of the week is "MR. DYNAMO", the 2nd LP on Roulette by Ronnie Hawkins And The Hawks, released at the beginning of 1960. Less “rocking” than his first one from 1959, it nevertheless features several excellent songs; among others, slow numbers as they could make them at the time.
